J.W. Galloway Ltd was founded in the late 1920s as a retail butchery business and expanded in the 1930s into manufacturing in order to guarantee consistent standards of quality. The company’s fundamental policy is still to provide consistent quality and the development at Scotbeef, Bridge of Allan, placed the facility as the most modern of its kind in the UK.

Scope of Work

The Mechanical Services installation comprised:

  • Gas fired steam boiler plant serving steam heat exchangers for HTHW process water, LTHW heating and DHW domestic systems
  • Variable temperature heating to offices and constant temperature to coils within air handling units
  • Dedicated supply and exhaust air handling units serving production and offices
  • Ventilation to chilled building and butchery
  • Compressed air serving production areas
  • Boosted hot and cold water services
  • Full BMS to provide integrated control of mechanical services
