Taylor and Fraser undertook, as Mechanical and Electrical sub-contractor, the installation of the new biomass boiler installation at Kilmory Castle, Argyll and Bute Council Headquarters. A new boilerhouse with underground wood chip storage has been constructed to house the new biomass boiler, standby oil boilers, thermals stores, pumps etc. Pre-insulated underground pipework runs to serve plantrooms in three old boilerhouse locations in the nursery, castle building and castle annexe. Plate heat exchangers are installed to ensure separation between the boilerhouse, external and internal systems. Project completion was successfully achieved in August 2014.

- Installation of new LTHW pipework, thermal storage vessels, heat exchangers, pumps etc
- Pre-insulated underground heating pipework
