Managing Director
Andrew Norris has served as Managing Director of Taylor and Fraser since its acquisition by Suir Engineering in January 2025. Andrew oversees the business and ensures that all projects and departments reflect the organisation’s commitment to safety, quality, reliability, trust, and its people.
Andrew brings extensive experience within the construction sector and has been instrumental in developing strong relationships with clients and industry partners. His practical, hands-on approach and focus on problem solving help ensure projects are delivered smoothly from concept through to completion.
He is passionate about building a trusted, forward-thinking company that consistently delivers successful outcomes for its clients

Angus MacInnes
Construction Director
Angus who has led the construction specialism within Taylor and Fraser since 2013, is a widely respected industry professional with over 35 years of experience of a wide diversity of private and public sector projects up to a value of £220m.
Working initially with National Tier 1 Contractors his insight into health and safety, professional delivery, and customer focus has driven within Taylor and Fraser our strategy of realism, practicality, reliability, and a proactive approach when assisting our client’s and design teams, ensuring irrespective of the size or nature of a project that the highest standards of delivery and quality are maintained.

William McGill
Mechanical Director
Willie McGill has served as Operations Director with over three decades of experience in a wide range of engineering sectors. He oversees the delivery of Building services design and installation across projects, ensuring that all stages of work reflect the organisation’s commitment to safety, quality, reliability, and collaboration.
Willie brings extensive expertise developed through a diverse portfolio of major UK projects, including healthcare, commercial, education, retail, and nuclear facilities. His hands-on approach, strong technical foundation, and ability to support project teams in resolving on‑site challenges ensure that installations are completed to the highest standards from initial design through to commissioning and final handover.
He has a proven track record of building productive relationships with clients, consultants, and end users—an approach that has been central to the success of large-scale schemes such as the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, The Leadenhall Building, Trinity Leeds, and refurbishment projects for the University of St Andrews. Willie is committed to delivering best‑in‑class engineering solutions and contributing to a forward-thinking, trusted organisation that consistently achieves successful outcomes for its clients.

Robert Hunter
Finance Director
Robert is the Finance Director at Taylor & Fraser where he oversees the company’s financial strategy, capital management and forecasting. Robert is also responsible for the HR and IT functions in Taylor & Fraser. A Chartered Accountant, with over 20 years’ experience, Robert has a proven track record of driving profitability and improving operations and reporting.
Prior to joining the business in 2022, Robert worked across a number of industries, including 10 years in construction businesses. He also utilised his research skills and background in law to set up a number of overseas entities for a high growth manufacturing business based in Glasgow. When not analysing spreadsheets, he’s a taxi driver for both his kids and coaches youth rugby for a local team.

Ian Nairn
Commercial Director
Ian is an accomplished Commercial Director with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Since joining the company in 2016, he has played a key role in driving commercial strategy across the business. Ian is known for his collaborative approach, and ability to deliver robust commercial outcomes while supporting the operational side of the business. Under his role, he oversees the estimating, commercial and procurement departments of the business. His leadership continues to help the business strengthen client relationships, improve project performance, and achieve sustainable growth.

Lee Cockburn
Operations Manager
Lee Cockburn serves as an Operations Manager in charge of an array of projects which include Construction, Mechanical and Electrical work at Taylor and Fraser. Lee has been with the company for 15 years from young apprentice, trades person, foreman, supervisor, project manager and through to operations manager.
He is responsible for overseeing operational delivery across all disciplines, ensuring that all projects and teams work efficiently to ensure the company completes projects effectively, on time and to the highest standard .
Lee plays a fundamental role in collaborative work within all sectors of the business and ensures that all elements from the tender award through to handover and demonstrations are carried out successfully. His experience from being both on site and office, ensure projects are meticulously planned and executed fully.

Kevin Teer
Operations Manager
Kevin Teer began his career with Taylor and Fraser as an apprentice, demonstrating early commitment, technical ability, and a strong work ethic. Through dedication and consistent performance, he progressed through the ranks, moving from apprentice to foreman, then to contracts supervisor and contracts manager, before recently being promoted to Operations Manager.
In his current role as Operations Manager, Kevin oversees and manages the Building Services Engineering (BSE) operations across the business, ensuring industry accreditations are managed and maintained. He plays a key role in shaping the future workforce at Taylor and Fraser, leading apprentice intakes, supporting industry training initiatives, and driving the professional development of existing engineers and technicians.
Kevin is responsible for ensuring that all contracts are successfully delivered to the highest possible standard. He places particular emphasis on quality, operational excellence, and maintaining rigorous health and safety practices across every project. His hands-on experience across multiple levels of the business gives him a strong understanding of both site operations and strategic delivery, helping to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the satisfaction of clients.

Emma Devnani
Financial Controller
Emma is the Financial Controller at Taylor & Fraser where she oversees the operations of the finance team and brings a strong focus to accuracy of reporting, financial integrity and identifying day to day efficiencies. She joined the business in 2025 and is a Chartered Accountant with an attention to detail and previous financial experience in both practice and industry roles.
Emma works closely with the Senior Management team to provide clear data for decision making, improve performance visibility and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place. She is passionate about understanding drivers and reasoning behind the numbers and ensuring the company maintains a solid financial foundation for continued growth.

Grant Moffat
MOD Framework Director
Grant Moffat is the MOD Framework Director for Taylor and Fraser, joining in January 2026 to lead the company’s entry into the defence sector and to establish the strategy, governance, and assurance needed for future delivery across the defence estate. He brings over 35 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, and estates management, with a specialist track record in major projects, defence programmes, portfolio management, and complex technical environments.
Grant is focused on building a robust, compliant framework for defence‑sector work, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and developing trusted relationships with framework operators and defence clients as enquiries and opportunities grow. A collaborative and hands‑on leader with NEC4 project management expertise and strong commercial acumen, he is committed to embedding the rigour, resilience, and whole‑life value that will underpin Taylor and Fraser’s long‑term role as a trusted defence‑sector partner. He is passionate about positioning the business as a trusted, forward‑thinking delivery partner-championing innovation in design and delivery and aligning every opportunity with mission‑critical outcomes for clients and end users.

Scott is an experienced construction and infrastructure professional with over 30 years in the industry, including more than 20 years specialising in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as a focused, solution-driven professional who understands the complex risks associated with major construction and infrastructure projects.
With extensive hands-on and leadership experience, Scott has worked across a wide range of projects, helping organisations manage risk, strengthen safety culture, and deliver projects safely and efficiently. His approach combines practical industry knowledge with proactive risk management, ensuring that safety and operational performance go hand in hand.
As an EHS professional and manager, Scott is known for his ability to work collaboratively with teams at all levels, identifying challenges early and implementing effective, practical solutions. He is committed to creating safer working environments while supporting project success and operational excellence.

Claire Dunn
Commercial Manager
Claire Dunn joined Taylor and Fraser in 2021 as a Quantity Surveyor and has since progressed to Commercial Manager. She leads a team of nine, overseeing the commercial management of projects and ensuring their smooth day-to-day delivery.
Claire has successfully managed various projects ranging in value from 250k to 6m, working closely with project teams to ensure costs are kept within budget, deadlines are met and contract obligations are adhered to.
Her leadership ensures that all commercial aspects of projects are proactively managed, contributing to the company’s continued growth and client satisfaction.

Eric Bain
Quality Support Manager
Eric Bain has been with Taylor and Fraser since July 2023, starting my employment as the company Compliance Manager and Qualified Supervisor, this role involved building a team to carry out EICR works to keep our clients compliant, as well as providing support with any needs that might arise.
More recently Eric has took on the role as the company Quality Support Manager which involves promoting quality orientated culture through all aspects of our business, ensuring that best practice is planned, implemented and shared effectively from the start to the completion of the projects and provide documented evidence in line with our business quality policies and procedures.

Alison Adam
HR Manager
Alison Adam is the HR Manager at Taylor and Fraser Ltd, where she oversees the company’s HR operations and supports the development of its people and culture. With over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry across a variety of roles, Alison has a strong understanding of both the sector and the people who make it work.
She works closely with teams across the business to ensure HR practices support the company’s goals while maintaining high standards of compliance and employee support.
Alison particularly enjoys the interaction with people and building positive working relationships. She is passionate about creating a supportive environment where employees feel valued and can grow, recognising that people are at the heart of the company’s success.

Frazer Kirk
Estimating Manager
Frazer Kirk has served as Estimating Manager at Taylor and Fraser since January 2026, having originally joined the business in 2019. In this role, Frazer is responsible for overseeing all estimating activities across the construction, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, ensuring a coordinated and efficient approach to bid preparation.
Frazer brings a strong background within the construction and building services sector, and his experience across multiple sectors provides valuable insight when assessing project requirements and developing competitive, well-structured tenders.
A key focus of Frazer’s role is ensuring that bids are returned in a timely and professional manner, while maintaining a strong attention to detail to ensure all client requirements are fully understood and addressed. His collaborative approach helps ensure that submissions are clear, compliant, and aligned with both client expectations and project objectives.
