Laura McKellar and Claire Strain organised this year’s Christmas Jumper fundraiser. Thank you to both for encouraging everyone to take part in raising funds for the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal.
The Cash for Kids Mission Christmas Appeal recognises that for many in the UK, Christmas is a time of stark choices. Choices between heating their homes or buying food. Choices that strip away the magic of Christmas and that no child should worry that Santa won’t come.
Every donation counts, and what you give will be used to buy a gift for a child who really needs it. It was also important to the team at Taylor and Fraser that everything raised in our area stays in our area to help local families.
Laura and Claire were delighted with the response; Laura said: “Many thanks to all who took part and donated to our Christmas Jumper day. Everyone made a fantastic effort with their colourful outfits and tasty treats in the office. And congratulations Jacqui and Ian for being voted the best dressed on the day.
“All cash collected has been added to the online total, and I’m delighted to report we have raised £410 so far, which already beats last year’s figure! It was a great day for a very worthy cause.”
We are delighted to report that the initial target was smashed. Still, regardless of the amount raised, it’s never enough, so we’re appealing to anyone who would like to donate to do so on the Taylor and Fraser Cash for Kids Mission Christmas donation page.
