I’d certainly say Taylor and Fraser and the Parent company, Suir Engineering, are committed to personal development; they don’t just support it, they actively encourage it.

I am particularly impressed with the content specifically designed to support women in construction.

They embrace the concept of lifelong learning and support anyone who wants to acquire new skills, whether through internal, external, or e-learning methods.

The initial intention was to undertake an 8-week internship to gain real work experience. However, I enjoyed the work and appreciated the company's culture so much that I was eager to secure a full-time position.

During my time with Taylor and Fraser, I have worked on a diverse range of projects, including Distilleries, new-build primary schools, Fish Farms, Universities, Stately homes, such as Dumfries House, part of the King’s Foundation, and most recently, an NHS Project.

I have benefited firsthand from the support of Taylor and Fraser, which has given me the opportunity to upskill to a QS.
