Taylor and Fraser undertook the construction of a new build three storey health facility at Plean Street, Yoker. This was a challenging, but rewarding, project
of complex, heavily serviced design within a gap site. Subsequent to project completion in 2008, the facility has been warmly received by both the Client and the local residents.
Scope of Work
The project comprised of the following trades, several of which were contractor designed:
- Rotary bored cast in-situ concrete piling
- Groundworks, underground drainage and utilities connections
- Structural steel frame
- Precast concrete floors and stairs, mild steel balustrading and stainless steel handrailing
- External masonry walls with Uniclad wall cladding
- Internal floor, wall and ceiling finishes
- Technal curtain walling, windows and doors
- Services Installations
- Dental equipment installation
- External landscaping including the formation of new carparking
- Fire Protection
- Corus roof decking with Protan roof finish and fall arrest system
- Healthcare furniture
