M&E Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team at our office in Paisley, Renfrewshire. The candidate will be a positive and proactive individual capable of taking responsibility for all surveying matters on projects ranging from £50k – £5m. Working collaboratively as part of the Commercial and Engineering team to develop business objectives whilst maintaining good working relationships with our clients and end users.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing budgets and first principle M&E take offs.

Contract reviews and negotiations

Assisting with value engineering.

Tender analysis.

Preparing and submitting cashflow forecasts.

Preparing and submitting monthly financial forecasts.

Cost control and Contract variation records.

Preparing and submitting Valuation/Applications.

Arranging payments to Sub -Contractors.

Preparing, submitting and negotiating final accounts.

Contract administration.

Good understanding of mechanical and electrical services.

Additional Information:

Holiday Entitlement – 32 days (inclusive of statuary days).

Hours – 8:00am – 17:00pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8:00am – 15:00pm (Fri). Please note: – We may require additional hours subject to workload.
