A few members of the Taylor and Fraser team conquered the 23 Mile ‘Mighty Stride’ Kiltwalk in Glasgow on Sunday 28th April to raise money for their chosen charities.
Claire Strain and Laura McKellar walked in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity, which provides invaluable help and support to people affected by cancer throughout Scotland. Iain Muir walked the Kiltwalk in aid of STV Cash for Kids, which helps children living in poverty throughout Scotland. The team have all done a fantastic job of fundraising and the money will go a long way in helping these very worthy causes.
Since the Kiltwalk was founded in 2011, it has offered a great fundraising platform for charities of all sizes and causes throughout Scotland. The organisers, the Hunter foundation, top up all donations raised through the Kiltwalk by 40%, meaning all funds raised go even further in helping those less fortunate in Scotland. The Kiltwalk 2019 kicked off with the event in Glasgow and there are another three events planned across Aberdeen (2nd June), Dundee (18th August), and Edinburgh (15th September), set to be bigger and better than ever.
Well done to Claire, Laura, Iain and everyone who got involved in the Glasgow Kiltwalk!
