Taylor and Fraser helping to transform Murchison House

Taylor and Fraser are currently working on the contract at the grade B listed building, Murchison House. Built in 1977 the building lies on the University of Edinburgh’s science campus at the King’s Buildings.

Taylor and Fraser have been commissioned to upgrade the mechanical and electrical systems as part of a major refurbishment of this important building.  The completed refurbishment work will transform the currently vacant building into a dynamic multi-functional teaching hub in keeping with University of Edinburgh Department of Science’s global reputation.

Speaking about the Murchison House contract, Taylor and Fraser Managing Director, Lindsay Anderson said, “We are delighted to be involved in such a high profile project.  Our experience in the Education sector is proving invaluable in the delivery of state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical systems at Murchison House.”
