Claire Strain and Laura McKellar take on the 2019 Loch Ness Marathon

Our team are no strangers to charity races and walks. To name just a few, they’ve braved the Kiltwalks, the Castle of Mey 10k and The Great North Run.

Two of our employees, Claire Strain and Laura McKellar, have recently run the 2019 Loch Ness Marathon in Inverness after months of rigorous training.  It was a very tough course but they both enjoyed the challenge.

They ran with a group of friends, the Beatson Buddies, and raised a fantastic total of £3,584.96 for the Beatson Cancer Charity which is a charity close to their hearts.

The Loch Ness Marathon takes a scenic route along the famous Loch Ness, featuring stunning surroundings and a fantastic atmosphere. The run was voted in the top 10 UK marathons by Runner’s World readers in 2016, and is a desirable marathon for runner’s all over the world.

Well done to Claire and Laura on their fundraising efforts!
