The project comprised the conservation, restoration and refurbishment of the former main farmhouse and out buildings on the Dumfries House Estate, and their conversion into luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.

Scope of Work

The works consisted of stripping and reroofing the existing farmhouse, barns, and cottages, conservation of the original stonework, and the provision of new windows, doors, and rooflights to match the historic setting. Mezzanine floors were created to increase the accommodation and a new managers flat was created within one of the barns.
