Taylor and Fraser has been closely involved with the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews for decades. Under the ownership of Kohler Co., a programme of refurbishment was undertaken. Considerable care was taken in reviewing existing services with the design team before embarking with methodical upgrading and replacement of the mechanical and domestic systems over six contracts. The refurbishment included suits, bedrooms, bathrooms, conference, kitchen and state of the art spa facilities. This was achieved whilst the hotel remained in operation with minimal disruption to guests. In 2007, the Old Course Hotel was awarded the Scottish Hotel of the Year award, presented by Hotel Review Scotland.
